SISO PREVENT STRATEGY

It is generally agreed in the 21st century that fundamentalists pay no respect to creeds, borders, conventions, sovereignty and international niceties.

Our SISO Prevent strategy has as its main goal to address the key issues surrounding the threats posed by radicalisation, home grown terror and the big question of why ordinary people become involved in terrorism and other forms of violent extremism.

Our diverse and experienced group of counter terrorism and intelligence experts are concerned with the dangers ahead as far as radicalisation and terrorism is concerned to the global world. We believe that all available practical measures should be considered to guard against the involvement of vulnerable young men and women joining extremist groups irrespective of their culture, religion, race, sex, age, state, region, and continent. We aim to tackle violent extremism from the grass roots by working in close collaboration with all affected and vulnerable communities and stake holders and make it our first principle to build community trust with solution providers.

Radicalisation Awareness Programme

Radicalisation Awareness Programme:  This tailored SISO program will address those who are considered to be at the normal/ordinary and vulnerable stage of radicalisation. The Greatest energy is required to Step In at this stage to sensitise the ‘normal and the vulnerable individuals and groups in the community. Prevent can only be effective used at this crucial stages.

SISO Disengagement Programmes

SISO Disengagement Programmes: These programmes will focus of Violent Extremist and Terrorist. Leaving Extremism and violent Extremism behind is extremely dangerous and difficult for those who have become active militants. However certain factors can influence the exit strategy. The factors that contribute to exit must be well developed and grounded on effective dialogue, communication and conflict resolution techniques. Some exit factors are natural but our experts are capable of presenting tailored and better alternatives to those in need of an exit door.

Tailored Deradicalization Programmes:  This program is effectively designed to address and tackle individuals and groups that have moved beyond the normal/ordinary and vulnerable stages and have become radicalised using elements or vulnerable factors from stage two: A. Analysing the radicalisation process and understanding selection factors, criteria and different levels of involvement as sign post. B. Radical Extremism/ cognitive stage

SISO Ethical Counter Narrative

Programmes

SISO Ethical Counter Narrative programmes/ reversing the fiction The focus of these programmes will be on Radical Preachers and Recruiters of young minds. Programmes will be targeted on selected frontline staff engaged in mitigating platforms, preachers and recruiters using detect and Pursue strategy. The core and strength of these programmes is the understanding that ideologies are harmless without a subject driving them.

NOTE: Individuals going through the two stages above are difficult to spot, but when spotted it becomes relatively easier to address their vulnerabilities. On that premise, the greatest amount of resources and reverse strategy is required at these stages to deal with individuals and groups going through or have completed the radicalisation process either online and offline platforms or both. The goal is to reverse their thoughts and mind process back to stage one.

Note: Individuals and groups in Stage 3 and Stage 4 are relatively easy to spot but difficult to Disengage.
